DSS Networks, Inc. was founded and incorporated in July 2000 and is headquartered in Lake Forest California (South Orange County). Our mission is to provide 1/10 Gigabit Ethernet, WDM (CWDM/DWDM), Optical Packet Transport, Digital Video Transport and other next generation board and system level telecommunications products that are compliant to industry and organizational standards; for OEMs, VARs and Systems Integrators serving industry sectors including Military, Telecom, Enterprise, Datacenter and Industrial Automation.

Our primary goal is to provide high performance, cost-effective and competitive solutions to help enable our customers reduce development time, lower associated costs and focus on their core competencies while delivering quality differentiated features that help make their product the best in its class.
Company product focus is on standards based communications supporting PCI, PCI-X, Compact PCI, PMC/PMC-X, PICMG 2.16, PCI-Express, AdvancedMC (AMC), Micro-TCA (uTCA) and ATCA.
DSS Networks core team has over 50 years combined experience developing communications hardware products, board-level firmware and device drivers for real-time and embedded systems.
Our board-level products are designed and manufactured in the USA to quality standards using the best materials and workmanship. We provide robust features for harsh environments including conformal coating and extended temperature.
Our hardware and firmware engineering team is based in Lake Forest California. Our software and firmware is designed and developed to quality standards and continuously tested for reliability, functionality and performance.
Our operating system expertise includes VxWorks, Linux 2.4/2.6, Windows 2000/XP, Solaris and other Unix variants.
We have a Worldwide Network of Distributors, VARs', Systems Integrators and Sales Representatives in order to provide the best service to our customers.
We provide fast and free pre and post sales techinical support for our products (and in many cases free consulting to assist our customers).
